Darlings, questions and comments are accumulating here, on twitter, via 15740964_10211067686350160_1261593257527945448_nemail and over on Facebook. I’m afraid they will have to wait until I am finished writing the first draft of this manuscript. You know I love you and will get to them as soon as I am able. xoxox

    Hello,
can readers collect all Annabelle nightmares and fairytales issues in hardcover format?

    Are you continuing her stories?

I would love to collect all the Nightmares & Fairy Tales into hardcover format and I would LOVE to continue the series. I am currently looking for a publisher who would be interested in publishing the series because I currently don’t have the time to do a crowdfunding campaign to self publish with my current writing schedule.

Hi Serena its Jack. Is this new book going to talk about why Maleficent lost her wings? If that is so I will definitely get this book. I love your books. In fact they are the best?

Hello Jack, I’m sorry to say this isn’t about how Maleficent lost her wings. But it is how she lost other very important things.

Will it be a surprise what she lost?

Publisher? Is Slave Labour Graphics no longer willing to publish Nightmares & Fairy Tales?

SLG is a small press, and understandably can’t pay page rates, rather we are paid a percentage of the sales of the book once they are sold, should the book sell over a particular amount of copies – this is standard for small publishers and completely understandable. They’re taking a risk with the printing and promotion costs – however the artist and I are also taking a risk working for free and hoping the book sells well enough to warrant royalties – that isn’t an issue for me per-say, but I don’t want to ask my artists who put in a lot of hours of work illustrating the books with only the hope of being paid *if* the book sells well. I’d rather them be paid for their time with a page rate *and* paid royalties of the books sell. So we will either find a publisher willing to pay a decent page rate (to my artists at least) or we will self publish.

That question mark was an accident, but they are the best books I have ever read. It will be interesting to see you you pick after Maleficent whether it’s Jafar from Aladdin, Dr. Facilier from the Princess and the Frog, Yzma from The Emporer’s New Groove, or another one. No matter what you pick, these books will be the best things based off a disney movie.

Hello, Serena! I absolutely love your books! I cannot wait for your Maleficent book! I have question. Is there any ideas that you have in mind besides Maleficent? Like what other Disney Villains you have in mind doing?

We have the villains planned for books 5 & 6 but we would like to wait until closer to the release dates to announce the villains.
